Teague Middle School is located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Teague Middle School has become one of the best schools in the state. The school has had an A+ FCAT grade for a consecutive 6 years. As confirmed by www.schoolmatters.com, the school exceeds not only the county, but the average state of Florida in academic improvements in math, as well as reading. The 2006-2007 school year has been the most successful year in Teague, since the opening of the school in 1999

Teague is a very diverse school. The majority of the school are white, leading with 67.5% of the school Hispanics take up second place on the wheel with 21.2% of the school ethnic groups. In third place, comes the black with only 7.6% of the school ethnic wheel. In last, is 3.4% Asian/Pacific Islander, and 0.1% Native American.

Teague Middle School offers many courses during the three years. What is called the core classes are all year classes that consist of Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. Electives for only one semester terms are available as well:

For students who failed to score over a 2 in either math and/or English, will be automatically placed in Intensive Reading and/or Math. Each intensive class will take the place of 4 semester elective classes, or 2 Year long term classes:

  • Intensive Reading
  • Intensive Math
