[edit] First Film
What is Teanna's first film (circa 1999)? Anyone know? There are only a few candidates, according to iafd.

[edit] VfD Tag
Although this now appears to be an article, the VfD tag was removed without the vote being closed by an admin. FYI --Dysepsion 21:26, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Ethnicity
Teanna Kai is NOT Vietnamese http://www.raincoatreviews.com/aph/aphinterview_teanna_kai_01.htm
Her ethnicity is disputed. Apparently she switches back and forth. Below are the links of her interviews and more importantly, the dates.
- "I'm 100% Vietnamese" Interview on November 2003
- "I'm Half Filipino Hawaiian" Interview on April 2004

- That’s just messed up. She probably has an identity crisis and probably got picked on when she was a little girl just for being Asian when she first came to the US. Someone should just change it to Asian American to make it general. If she’s Vietnamese, she probably grew up in a refugee camp in the P.I. I personally don’t think she’s Filipina not even if she’s mixed Chinese and Filipino Malay. She looks more IndoChinese looking or Vietnamese looking than Filipino. Despite Western stereotypes, not all Asians look alike. I had lady friend in college whose family was originally from Laos and she almost look like her. They could almost be sisters. But my Laotian friend is much prettier and she also has a nice body. Teanna definitely is not “Half Hawaiian and Half Filipino”. I went through Marine Corps bootcamp in San Diego with a U.S. Marine who actually is half Hawaiian/half Filipino and I met his family during graduation. He and his siblings look like Asian Indians but they’re Half Hawaiian Half Filipino. I bet if a real Filipino were to come up to her and ask what province was her family from or what her regional ethnic linguistic group her family was from (like Illocano, Tagalog, Visayan, Batangueno, Olongapo, etc) she probably wouldn’t know squat diddly what we’re talking about.--Pilot expert 07:55, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- I agree, I thought she had some Filipino ancestry, but the more I look at her, she really doesn't look it. If you're half Hawaiian half Filipino there is a distinct look to you. So true, not all Asians look a like. Unfortunatly you can't change the info on the article based on assumptions. --† Ðy§ep§ion † 17:24, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- I know I wouldn't want people to know my ethnicity, because I always considered it racist. She probably feels the same way. Still, this is important to the Internet community of Asian race catalogers (of which I am ironically one--politically opposed to myself). So, we need hard geneological proof, a birth certificate, first-hand information about her biological parents' ethnicity, or whatever would work. Does anyone have or can obtain access to any of those records? The larger Internet would appreciate any efforts on your part. 75.24.212.48 20:31, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
