[edit] Corvette, not Camaro

Unfortunately, an Associated Press story misidentified the Chevrolet model in the TRAC series as a Camaro. Given that many publications belong to AP, this error was repeated several times by those that ran this story and other publications that used it as source material. Also, given that TRAC was to begin its first season in 2004, it wouldn't have made sense to use the obsolete Camaro; production was suspended after the 2002 model year.

Of course, the proof is in the picture. Here's a shot of the TRAC cars. The C5 Corvette--with its signature split grille, unlike the Camaro--is on the right: http://www.jayski.com/schemes/trac-cars.jpg 66.19.76.129 12:02, 29 August 2007 (UTC)Deej
