TEAM Linhas Aéreas (Transportes Especiais Aéreos e Malotes) is an airline based at Jacarepaguá Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The company's main objective is to operate in the market of regional flights, connecting Rio de Janeiro to the several cities.

The company has two L-410 UVP-E20 planes (PR-IMO and PR-AIA, for 19 passengers). TEAM Airlines is currently operating to 8 cities in 3 Brazilian States, providing both passengers and cargo transportation.

Created in 2001 as a charter company to render services for oil companies in Campos Basin (RJ), TEAM began to operate as an Air Transportation Company in the same year, between the airports of Santos Dumont (RJ), Macaé (RJ) and Campos (RJ).

In 31st of March, 2006 TEAM had a fatal accident. TEAM Flight 6865 departed Macaé (MEA) at 17:19 on a scheduled flight to Rio de Janeiro (SDU). The airplane PT-FSE was expected to arrive at 18:02. Contact was lost and the flight appeared to have crashed between the cities of Saquarema and Rio Bonito. All 19 people onboard died.[1]
