Renovation
Excellent! I'm ready too! Where would you like to begin? What things in particular do you have in mind? Are you looking for a fancy page, a simpler page, a tech-y page, a page more about you, a page more about Wikipedia? (Sorry, lots of questions get lots of answers!) --Fbv65edel / ☑t / ☛c || 01:33, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, but I need a bit more. What are you looking for on the page? Content-wise, that is. Wow, this is harder than I thought it would be. I don't know if I'm even right for the job… *eek* We'll see what we can do. But before I can design anything, I need to know what's going to be on the page. --Fbv65edel / ☑t / ☛c || 00:49, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Hey, this is rather embarrassing considering I've been sitting around for so long and we haven't gotten going, but I don't think this is the right job for me. I would have thought that, come summer rolling around, I would have more time, but it seems with all my jobs and to-dos if I got wrapped up in this, I would really push aside some things I should be doing. But, just because I'm bowing out, that shouldn't hurt you. So, I asked User:Sceptre, who expressed interest on WP:UPH in redoing userpages, to take over for me. He hasn't said anything yet, but he seemed fairly interested when he signed up. I hope you understand -- it's just that I can't spend as much time as I would on Wikipedia. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your new user page! And my apologies again. --Fbv65edel / ☑t / ☛c || 15:25, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Inputbox on your user page
Please replace the inputbox on your userpage with an "add section" link to your user talk page. Using an inputbox to allow others to add a comment is very confusing for first-time visitors to your userpage, because the text in the inputbox specifies the name of the page to save the comment on, not the message itself. Hence, someone who just wanted to leave you a message might easily end up creating a junk page, if they replace the "User_talk:Tdxiang" part with the message they wanted to give you, and then hit "Click here...".
The wikicode to create a "post comment" link that will surely post to your user talk page is:
[{{fullurl:User talk:Tdxiang|action=edit§ion=new}} Leave me a message!]
which generates:
Leave me a message!
The "Leave me a message!" part is, of course, customisable. Regards, Kimchi.sg 13:56, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

Re: User:66.17.116.148
Just curious: this user is also User:Jim16 and knows he's blocked, set to expire at the end of this month. Was there a reason for this edit? Thanks. :) RadioKirk (u|t|c) 20:05, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- What threw me was, the IP's last edit was in February. It was established when the user tended to forget when he was and was not logged in, and confirmed through CheckUser. I've been mentoring him, and hoping he'll be productive. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 12:58, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
Chee Soon Juan
The related discussion is found in Talk:Chee Soon Juan. There is no reason to believe that Chee edited the article. The sequence of events is summarized as follows:
- three IP users, 202.156.2.234, 202.73.41.234, and 202.156.6.54, added unsubstantiated content into the article Chee Soon Juan on different occasions from June 2005 to March 2006.
- Chee sent an email to User:Ghormax, saying that the article had many inaccuarcies and POVs. He provided a list of disputed content in the email.
- User:Ghormax posted the list in Talk:Chee Soon Juan asking for help to verify the article.
- I edited the article to remove or reword several of the disputed content, based on information I can find from the Internet.
Among the disputed content, the most serious one is an allegation that "Chee encouraged Australians to boycott Singapore products and supported claims for trade sanctions against Singapore by Australia". Searching through the Internet, I couldn't find any source that could verify this, and presume that the statement is false. It is unfortunate that the false statement remained in the article undetected for about half a year. We have to be more careful with biography articles and prevent such incident from happening again. --Vsion 05:05, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

had been forgeing post on his talk page after being blocked, this is the reason I semi-protected the talk page.Admin coaching
Your admin coaching entry is still listed as pending- and your coaches seem to be away (one on break, other retired). Do you still want admin coaching, and if so do you want to be assigned new coaches, or just one new one to replace Mailer diablo? Please let me know on my talk page. Thanks, Petros471 10:56, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well Terence Ong has a declaired retired notice, and I don't think Johann Wolfgang is signed up as a coach, however you are very welcome to ask him if would like to! Petros471 11:24, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your note. Yes I'm back, I'm more than happy take out some time to coach you. Hopefully we can get this going as soon as possible! :) - Cheers, Mailer Diablo 19:09, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

WIkipedia:Esperanza/User Page Award
Hi Tdxiang! You've signed up to be a judge for the Esperanza User Page Award! You'll have three user pages to examine. The user pages you get coincide with your signup number. So if you signed up to be a judge in spot 1 than you will get nominations 1-3. Pick your favorite one, and list it in the finalist section. After all 5 judges have chosen a finalist it's time to award them 1-10 points in the four categories:
- Attractiveness: general layout, considering colour scheme and/or use of tables if applicable
- Usefulness: links to subpages or editing aids, helpful information
- Interesting-ness: quirky, unique, captivating, or funny content
- General niceness: at the judges' discretion
Please see the Scores section on this page for additional information on your job as a judge.
Keep in mind that your scores are confidential! Email Banes with your scores and final picks. As soon as all the scores have been tallied, a winner will be announced! Thanks.

Hi, my dear Tan!
Hi, my dear Tan! First, I'm sorry it took me a couple of days to get back to you, but as you may have seen, I've been on a short vacation, so I could get to your request just today. I've juggled a little with your page, and you can see the results here. Wanna know something? When I glanced at your page, I covered my mouth with one hand and blinked at the screen several times, wondering... "now how am I gonna fix this??" I'm sorry, hun, but if you forgive me, your page really was messy ;) Anyway, I've had to cut a few things here and there to tidy it (like the floating bars); feel free to re-add them if you wish, tho they were impossible to fit... at least for me :( Also, I've had to redesign your nav bar, and I didn't wanna touch your design at your user subpage, so feel free to copy it from the main userpage design and paste it into your subpage if you want. Due to my currently strong headache, I wasn't very inspired regarding the color selection, but that's a minor concern, so I leave the experimenting entirely up to you - try your preferred combination! :) Just let me know if I can help you any further, k? It's great to meet you, my dear Tan, and I hope to talk to you again soon! Big hugs, Phaedriel ♥ The Wiki Soundtrack!♪ - 20:29, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Please correct
On the userpage award project, you chose AliK as your finalist; however s/he is not one of the people you are supposed to judge. Since you are the first judge, you must judge the 1st, 2nd and 3rd nominations, which are, in this case:
Please correct this mistake ASAP. Thanks. --May the Force be with you! Shreshth91($ |-| ŗ 3 $ |-| ţ |-|) 11:56, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Your Finalists nom on Wikipedia:Esperanza/User_Page_Award
Hi Tdxiang, When judging on the Esperanza User Page Award aren't you suppose to pick the best userpage out of contestants 1, 2 and 3, as it says; "So judge 1 will get nominations 1-3, judge 2 will get 4-6, and so on." Not the best overall as it seems you have done. Thought I should point it out :) Cheers, -- Froggydarb croak 11:57, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
