TDC Kabel TV

TDC Kabel-TV is a Danish distributor of cable television and broadband. It is the dominating distributor of cable television and claims that almost than 45 percent of the Danish population receive their television from TDC.[1] It is a subsidiary of TDC A/S.
As of 2007, TDC broadcasted both analogue and digital cable television. The analogue offering contained around forty channels and was sold in three packages:
- Grundpakken, the basic package that contains the Danish channels DR1, DR2, TV 2 and SBS Net, the Swedish channels SVT1, SVT2 and TV4, the German channels Das Erste, ZDF, RTL, Sat 1 and NDR Fernsehen, Norwegian TV 2 and local channels.
- Mellempakken, the "middle package" containg all channels of Grundpakken as well as TV 2 Charlie, TV3, TV3+, Kanal 4, Kanal 5 and CNN International.
- Fuldpakken, the "full package" containg the channels of Grundpakken and Mellempakken and: TV 2 News, TV 2 Film, TV 2 Zulu, TV 2 Sport, Dk4, Eurosport, CNBC Nordic, BBC World, BBC Prime, Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network, Jetix, MTV, VH1, The Voice TV, Hallmark Channel, TCM, Blue Hustler and TV5Monde.
TDC Kabel TV also offer digital television broadcasts containing specialty channels, channels for language minorities and high-definition television.
