TD Overdrive

TD Overdrive, full name Test Drive Overdrive is the eighth installment in the Test Drive series, or the ninth if Test Drive: V-Rally is counted, which was the name for V-Rally on the Dreamcast in the USA. The PC version is simply known as Test Drive.

It is the first sixth generation Test Drive out of two there currently are as Test Drive Unlimited was also released on PlayStation 2. While the game is loading, you can play Atari's Pong against the computer, or with your friend (during multi-player mode).

Quick Race: Like Single Race but much quicker to set-up.

Single Race: Choose any of the five race modes, any of the many cars and tracks and race.

Underground: The equivalent of a story mode.

Linear: Point A to B race.

Circuit: A looping track with set number of laps.

Navigation Challenge: Use the overhead arrow and radar to navigate to checkpoints.

Cop Chase: Use any of twelve cop cars (three for each of the four cities) to chase and bust racers.

Drag Race: Drag race on any of the four drag racing strips (one for each of the four cities).

The cars do not suffer damage and they can be painted pre-set or custom colours. There are twenty-six cars in total and twelve of the cars have police varations.
