- My question regards the photo I just uploaded. The wiki software is saying there is some sort of problem with it. Can you help me work through this? Here is the link [Steve Smith]

- The information on the image page is just saying that you need to provide a licence. In this case we must assume that the image is copyrighted (since it comes from a commercial website and I couldn't find a licence for the image on that website). So the only way we can use it is if the image is Fair use. I don't think it is fair use, and thus it should get deleted.--Commander Keane 01:03, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Could I request of that site permission to use the image? Would that be acceptable if I secured permission?
- If the site allows permission for just Wikipedia then that is still not acceptable. We can use the image is they release it under a free licence, like GFDL or public domain (but they may not want to, becasue then it can be sold and they won't get credit). The only other way we could use the image is if you said it was a publicity shot and tagged it with {{Promophoto}}--Commander Keane 01:16, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
I will work on getting that done then. Let's hope they reply. Thanks For Your Help TCPWIKI

[edit] Suggestion of Controversial Edits and Vandalsim
You posted about controversial edits, but I'm afraid I have no idea of what edit you are referring to. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:75.57.37.61
Okay I notice that you are a highly opiniated person. Please point to me the article that you have deemed vandalization. Thank you. 75.57.37.61
Okay Todd Packer was the edit in question. Thanks, I added that in a more succinct way, it was a reference to Ryan the temp calling him that. It wasn't vandalism, but was inappropriate. 75.57.37.61 03:53, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Bostonhomepage.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Bostonhomepage.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aksibot 15:56, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
