[edit] Your image deletion problem

Hi. I'm TechnoFaye and I'm writing this because you had perfectly good images you uploaded marked for deletion by Abu Bidali. You should know that he does this because he thinks it's funny; he even says so on his user page. More then 20 other editors just like us are parties to several formal complaints to Wikipedia in an effort to have him banned permanently for doing just what he did to you. Others have described him on the record as a "hoodlum" and a "vandal". My testimony was that "Bidali would be just as happy breaking antennas off cars at night". After he is gone, we can repair the damage he has done to WP. If you haven't already, please consider adding your name to the lists at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Abu_badali#Users_Who_Endorse_This_Summary http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Abu_badali#Users_who_endorse_this_summary:_2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Abu_badali#Users_who_endorse_this_summary:_4 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Abu_badali#Other_users_who_endorse_this_summary http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Abu_badali#Users_who_endorse_this_summary

[edit] Reuploading deleted images.

Taz Manchester, you have recently reuploaded images that have been deleted. Please, avoid this path. Best regards, --Abu badali (talk) 19:15, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

Lol, that was really POV, but it's no vandalism (see WP:VAND). --PaxEquilibrium 22:28, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ex-Muslims organization in the UK

What do you mean, this organization is not significant enough to warrant inclusion? Its relevant to the article's topic and thats all that matters. If it wasnt significant enough, it wouldnt be having its own article. Dont delete stuff like this again. Regarding this:

it is not significant enough to warrant mentioning, similar sections should be put up on Christianity, Judaism in Britain if this is placed here

Whats happening in other articles doesnt matter. If you want to put in changes to other articles like that, go ahead and make those changes but dont destroy this article. And FYI, there's no article like "Judaism in Britian" and stuff. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 19:22, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

You're going to put yourself in trouble (like a block e.g.) if you keep removing relevant information from articles like this. You reverted my change again without explaining why. I'm going to give you some time to explain your edit and if I dont hear anything from you, I'll restore the deleted text. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 19:45, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Look, whatever it is, Central Council of Ex-Muslims is a notable organization. Its been mentioned in the news media many times - thats all that matters. Whether their real numbers are known or unknown, it doesnt matter
If you were to add a section for every group with so few members or impact on the general British Muslim population the article would be endless.
Are there any notable organizations related to Islam in the UK? Then they should be there.
If such a section is added to the Islam in the United Kingdom article then equally sections on apostacy, scularism and athiesm added to the British Jews article and Church of England article.
I have told you you, feel free to add those sections in the other articles if you think its relevant. Here's the summary again: Its a notable organization and its relevant to the topic and so it warrants inclusion and your change will be reverted. Since you've had an account since 2005 I thought you would know about notability. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 20:09, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
By the way sign your posts and you've had an account since a long time so you should know that new talk comments go at the end of the talk page. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 20:10, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Please add back the link yourself, as well the material that you took out. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 20:51, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
I dont care what you want or not want to do to the Christian/Jewish stuff. I'm just talking about Islam. Add the back the link to the ex-muslim organization as well as the descript, i.e. all the material you deleted before. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 21:28, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Categories

Top level categories like Islam are not to be added to everything like this. The directions in that category say:

--Matt57 (talkcontribs) 13:06, 23 July 2007 (UTC)This category requires frequent maintenance to avoid becoming too large. It should list very few (if any) article pages directly, and should mainly contain sub-categories. Articles in this category should be moved to subcategories where appropriate.

[edit] Image tagging for Image:John Walker Lindh Custody.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:John Walker Lindh Custody.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Brazilian Muslims

A tag has been placed on Brazilian Muslims, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. [edit] Adnan Hamad

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of Adnan Hamad, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.iraqsport.com/imgdb/displayimage.php?album=4&pos=20. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 02:58, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MPACUK Logo.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:MPACUK Logo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 03:29, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
