Tazeen Ahmad

Tazeen Ahmad is a British television and radio presenter and reporter, born in Karachi in Pakistan in 1971 while her mother was on holiday. She currently presents the Channel 4 late-night discussion programme on Islamic issues called Shariah TV.

She is an experienced broadcaster who has presented and reported for programmes right across the BBC on radio and television. She presented the Hot Breakfast show on the BBC Asian Network on weekends (before it was replaced by the Amanda Hussein show), she was one of the main presenters at the launch of BBC Three and has also reported on Radio 5 Live. Having been brought up a muslim she hopes to inspire other muslims to enter the media but does not wish to be seen as a role model.
