The national park of Taza is one of the smaller national national parks of Algeria. It is located in Jijel Province, named after Taza, a town near this park. The park is located 30 kilometers north of Jijel. The park includes the "marvellous" caves of Jijel, in addition to sand beaches and many cliffs and grottoes. It is a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve, with a varied flora and fauna, including barbary apes.
