Taylor Landing, Texas

Taylor Landing is a city in Jefferson County, Texas, United States. It had an estimated population of 221 in 2006.[1]
The city, formerly part of Port Arthur's extraterritorial jurisdiction, voted to incorporate in an election held on September 10, 2005. A total of 124 votes were cast, 80 (64.5%) in favor of incorporation and 44 (35.5%) against.

Taylor Landing is located at

The Taylor Landing city government consists of a mayor (Jim Durkay) and two commissioners (Ed Boone and Larry Guidry). All ran unopposed in the May 2007 election. Durkay and Guidry are serving two year terms, while Boone will serve for one year before facing another election.[2]
