Taylor-Barneveld rivalry

Phil Taylor and Raymond Van Barneveld are two professional darts players who have been at the top of the game for many years. Taylor has won 13 World Championships and van Barneveld has won five. For many years, they competed in different organisations - Barneveld in the British Darts Organisation and Taylor in the Professional Darts Corporation. They competed against each other in a challenge match in 1999, which Taylor won - but it wasn't until van Barneveld joined the PDC in early 2006 that they competed against each other on a regular basis. This created a fierce rivalry that had been denied to darts fans by the BDO/PDC split. The two remain good friends, which they regularly show at the end of games.
