Tay Wilson

Tennant Edward (Tay) Wilson was a member of the International Olympic Committee from New Zealand from 1988 to 2006, and is now an honorary member.

He was born in Fielding, New Zealand on 3 February 1925, and was a rower, and a chartered accountant in Lower Hutt. He replaced Lance Cross on the IOC in 1988, and was replaced by Barbara Kendall in 2005.

He was awarded the O.B.E. and in 2007 was made a Distinguished Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (D.C.N.Z.M.)for services to the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
