Tay Cody (born October 6, 1977 in Colquitt, Georgia) is an Canadian football player.

A cornerback, Cody currently plays for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League. He previously played for the Edmonton Eskimos. Between 2001 and 2003 he also played for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. He attended Florida State University. Tay is married to his high school sweetheart, Chara, they have four boys; Conronta, Ty'Wantae, Montana Tay and Santana ... listed among the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Super Southern 100 as a senior defensive back at Early County (Blakely, Ga.) High...regarded as one of Georgia's top 50 prospects...received one of the higher grades from Jeff Whitaker's Deep South Football...was considered the 12th-best defensive back in the country by Super Prep...recorded 10 interceptions over his final two seasons...totaled 70 tackles as a senior.
