[edit] Summary

Oldest tree in Poland, and probably in Central Europe. Age was determined to be 1200, 1300 or 1500 years. Height - 15m. In 1813 its stem was damaged by the Cossacks (they made cuts using their sabres). Biggest damage to tree was caused by strong winds in 1988-1989, when one of branches was destroyed. Because of that it lacks it's previous circumference (5m). (source - sign nearby tree in question)
