The Tawny-faced Gnatwren (Microbates cinereiventris) is a species of bird in the Polioptilidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
