Tawaramoto Station(田原本駅) is a train station on the Kintetsu Kashihara Line in Tawaramoto, Shiki District, Nara Prefecture, Japan.

1 Kintetsu Kashihara Line South bound for Yamato-Yagi, Kashiharajingū-mae, Yoshino, Uehommachi, Ise-Shima and Nagoya
2 Kintetsu Kashihara Line North bound for Tenri, Yamato-Saidaiji, Kyoto, Nara and Namba

  • 1923 - The station opened as Osaka Electric Rail Tawaramoto Station
  • 1941 - Daiki merged with Sangu Kyuko Electric Railway, and becomes Kansai Kyuko Electric Railway
  • 1944 - Kankyu merged Nankai Railway and became Kintetsu, changing the station was renamed Kinki Nihppn Tawaramoto Station
  • 1964 - Kinki Nippon Tawaramoto Station was renamed the current name
  • 1990 - Station house renovation complete. Because of this the crosswalk was removed and the platform expands
  • 1992 - Automatic ticket checker and dispenser was installed.
  • 2007 - Starts using PiTaPa
