Tavex Oy is Finnish company, whose main areas of operation are investment gold trading, currency exchange and express money transfer between Finland, Estonia and Sweden.
Tavex Oy was established in Finland in 1996. Tavex Oy is a part of the international Tavid/Tavex concern which operates in Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Latvia. In the year 2009, Denmark is the next target of expansion for Tavid/concern. By the end of spring 2008, Tavid/Tavex concern was the employer for almost 100 personnel.

Tavex Oy is the only company in Finland that buys and sells investment gold in the forms of different gold coins and gold bars.[citation needed] Tavid/Tavex concern holds direct contracts with most of the known gold manufacturers and producers all over the world.

The currency exchange list of Tavex Oy contains of about 45 different foreign currencies. Tavex Oy has one currency exchange office in Helsinki which is mainly specialized in business to business deals and corporate customers. Tavex Oy is also the only currency exchange in Finland who doesn't take any commission from currency exchange deals.[citation needed]
