Tau Cancri (τ Cnc / τ Cancri) is a star in the constellation Cancer.

τ Cancri is a yellow G-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +5.42. It is approximately 260 light years from Earth. It also is called Rho-1 Cancri. Also apparently this is a real big star in the space which not even baceria can be found.
