Tasmanians Against the Pulp mill or TAP is a non-political, community based organisation that holds regular public meetings in an attempt to halt the proposed Gunns- State Government Bell Bay Pulp Mill project.
Most TAP members live in the Tamar Valley[citation needed] and believe they will be adversely affected by pollution and environmental damage caused by the corrupt state government environmental assessment of the proposed pulp mill. TAP have forced two local councils to hold public meetings and have created a 'Voters Block' to boycott all Tasmanian politicians who support the pulp mill.[citation needed]
