[edit] Acting
She joined a small Sydney theatre' which led to guest appearances on Blue Heelers, Home and Away and Echo Point. In 1996 she auditioned for, and won the part of "Dash McKinley" in Blue Heelers - her character was introduced halfway through Season 3, after "Wayne Patterson" was killed. In the same year she made her film debut in Fistful of Flies.
To win the role of "Dash McKinley", Tasma had to audition three times. It was the second one with William McInnes ("Nick Schultz") that swung it for her. In the audition Schultz yelled at Dash and while some of the other actresses burst into tears, Tasma reacted by having a hearty good laugh!
