Taslim Olawale Elias (1914 - 1991) was a Nigerian jurist. He was the first Justice Minister, between 1960 and 1966, the first Attorney General of Nigeria, from 1960 until 1972, and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, from 1972 until 1975.
From 1962 to 1975 he held a seat on the United Nations' International Law Commission. He then went on to serve as a judge on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) between 1976 and 1991. Finally he served as an acting president of the ICJ from 1981 until 1982 and as president of the ICJ from 1982 until 1985.
