You refer to the "end" of the War. It is NOT over! This only perpetuates the falacy and this Korean War is truly the Forgotten War. Read your list of units and no mention of Destroyers attached "the workhorse of the Navy." Units detached to provide shore bombardment support of troops under Task Force 95 and Task Force 96. Task Force 77 is still operational in the Sea of Japan and provides support to the 50000 American and UN forces at the DMZ.

Well, the Armistice was signed and the continuous fighting has been over for fifty-three years. How would you justify the statement that the war is not over? Buckshot06 04:57, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
