The name of Uzbek airport name in English is transliterated from Russian. Yuzhniy stands for Southern, and the official name of the airport is Toshkent Halqaro Janubiy Aeroporti, again which simply translates to Southern Tashkent International Airport, yuzhniy is what the Russians that live in Uzbekistan call it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.86.28.34 (talk) 16:43, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
