Tarvis Simms

Tarvis Simms (born May 1, 1971 in Norwalk, CT, United States) is a professional boxer in the Middleweight (160 lb) division.

Simms had a stellar amateur career, compiling a record of 196 wins and seven defeats [1]. In addition, he was a National Golden Gloves champion in 1993 at Middleweight.

Simms, turned pro late, at the age of 26. He is currently undefeated but has seen limited action due to promotional difficulties. He drew with Robert Frazier in his last bout, in May of 2005. He is scheduled to step up in class in his next fight against rugged veteran Luis Ramon Campas in February.

His brother, Travis Simms, is also a fighter.
