- Recently, attempts were made to trade in the 'Titan' for a neutral mascot in terms of race and gender(e.g. Tartan Thunder). The Tartan Titan is usually portrayed as a muscular, blond, Caucasian man holding a lightning bolt. These attempts were unsuccessful due to the overwhelming community support of the Titan.[citation needed]
