Tarikh es-Sudan

The Tarikh es-Sudan (or "History of the Sudan") is a medieval chronicle written by Abderrahman es-Sadi in the 17th Century, giving the general history of the western Sahel. It is an often cited reference for many scholars interested in a written record covering the turbulent times of the region.[1]
