Tarick Salmaci (b. February 28, 1973)[citation needed] is a boxer of Lebanese decent.

Still fighting after being featured on the reality tv show The Contender, where having been placed on the West Coast Team. Salmaci was voted back as a fan favorite to fight in "The Contender" finale at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.[citation needed]
Salmaci held the NABO Super Middleweight Title from March 1997, and rose through the rankings being rated #4 in the world by the WBO and 6th by the WBC.[citation needed] Salmaci signed a contract to fight for the world championship against world champion Joe Calzaghe. The fight was canceled due injury sustained by Calzaghe in training. "The Contender" season one came calling for Salmaci in 2005. Salmaci was voted back as a fan favorite to fight in the finale of the show. The finale took place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
