Tarek Elrich (born January 1, 1987 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian football player who currently plays as a right midfielder or back for A-League club Newcastle United Jets. He is the younger brother of Socceroo and Central Coast Mariners midfielder Ahmad Elrich. Tarek's number is 11, which may be due to his birthdate which is on 1st of the 1st.
Elrich's previous clubs include Parramatta Eagles in the NSW Premier Youth League, the Australian Institute of Sport and Sydney Olympic in the NSW Premier League.
