Tarek Al Eryan

Tarek Alarian (Arabic: طارق العريان) (born September 12, 1963) is a Palestinian-American film director living in Egypt. He is also credited as Tarek El'eryan and Tarek Eryan.

Tarek Alarian was born in Kuwait. He has been active since 1988. He has a son, Omar Alarian, from his first wife Hala Attal. They divorced in 1997. He is currently married to the Syrian singer Asalah Nasri.

Because he resides in Egypt, many think he is Egyptian, when if fact he is Palestnian carrying a US passport. Tarek is also the son of acclaimed film director Riad Alarian. Tarek has 3 brothers, Ahmad, Hani, and Nabeel. Ahmad is co-founder of the UAE based Almasa Productions - known for producing the famous "peace for Palestine" messages through his music. The two most famous ones were in 1998 and in 2007. He is currently married and has 4 children, the oldest named after his Father, Riad. He lives in Bahrain and is a very successful business man. Nabil, his other brother, is also a business man.
