Rusellae/Roselle is considered to be part of the Etruscan twelve city league by some modern authors, however this is false. During the twelve city league Rusellae existed, but it was never part of the twelve city league.
Faesulae/Fiesole was probably founded in the 9th-8th century BC. the Etruscan twelve city league was founded by the Lydian brothers Tyrsenos and Tarchon, who are both assumed to live in the 11th century BC. Hence it is impossible that Faesulae was part of the Dodecapoli.
In the Aeneid, Tarchon leads the Etruscans in their alliance with Aeneas against Turnus and the other Latian tribes.
