Tara Monroe (born Valerie Wells on September 11, 1975) is the younger sister of Tami Monroe. She is a redheaded actress who made a name for herself in adult films. She got into adult movies in 1993 at the urging of her older sister and her relationship with adult actor/director John Decker. Tami Monroe had entered the adult movie business years earlier. Ms. Monroe won an award for best house dancer of the year (as Tara Monroe) from Bust Out Magazine in 1994. She starred in over 50 movies during her time in the industry. She was a presenter, along with her sister at the 1994 Adult Video News rewards.
Monroe retired from the adult-film industry in 1996. After movies/magazine appearances, she also danced at strip clubs in California and Nevada until 2003. She has since retired from the adult business entirely.
