I believe that as a well-known publishing company in the Jewish world, Targum Press is worthy of a page on Wikipedia, similar to other Jewish publishers that have pages, like Artscroll or Feldheim. Chumashteacher (talk) 10:13, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Targum Press also publishes chapter books for children. This is particularly valuable today when so many secular children's books are full of coarse language and corrupt values. (Mrs. Cohen (talk) 08:36, 14 May 2008 (UTC))

The conventions of the Orthodox world would make it difficult to meet the usual notability guidelines for any Orthodox publisher. Orthodox publishers (generally) are written about in Orthodox periodicals. These are prevented from publishing critical comments by religious prohibitions on negative comments. and endless puff pieces make for boring reading, so they tend not to write much. However, with only a handful of publishers catering to the English language Orthodox market, it would be silly to leave out Targum and Feldheim, just because they have not generated the degree of comment that Artscroll has. Someone researching Orthodox publishing would need to be able to find information on Targum to understand the industry.--Olesker (talk) 20:40, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
