Talk:Tarellians (Warhammer 40,000)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm fairly certain it's spelled "Tarellians" and not "Tallerians" in both the 3rd Ed. rulebook and Codex: Tau. 80.43.0.87 10:14, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- It is just a little worrying that the top Google hit for tallerians is Wikipedia... Cheers --Pak21 10:22, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Quick Question: Are the Tarellians/Tallerians the BF:G version of the Kroot, or are they actually independant (if very similar) races?
- Independent. Kroot Warspheres exist in BF:G (see To Unite The Stars from Battlefleet Gothic: Armada from the Specialist Games site). Cheers --Pak21 09:17, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
I was under the impression that the 'dog' in their name referred to being hired as mercenaries, not their appearance. I think there's even a GW quote supporting this somewhere, although I don't know where. -- Norminator 23:37, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- "Dog Soldiers" is actually the description of their being a race of mercenaries. Tallerians (that's the correct, revised spelling) are a reptillian/reptiloid race. --Loc.warhammer 14:12, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
It is spelt Tarellians, so that needs to be changed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Leonmallett (talk • contribs) 10:26, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Its also likely a reference to the Dog Soldiers, duh —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.137.207.191 (talk) 16:36, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
