[edit] Why this article is "notable"
Aldarion is a very notable character because there is a _whole story_ about him (and Erendis) in Tolkien's work. There is thus more information available about him than from any King of NĂºmenor (save probably Ar-Pharazon only)
[edit] Aldarion's later years
Tolkien never completed his story. Thus all we know about his later years (after becoming King) are pretty vague (only source being Cristopher Tolkiens hints at the end of the story in Unfinished Tales.) Should we include information in those "hints" at all?
