Tappuah

Tappuah is a Biblical name with several meanings:

  • Taffah, formerly (Beth-)Tappuah, was a town on the West Bank 4 miles west of Hebron.
  • Entappuah was mentioned in the Book of Joshua and is probably a spring near Yassuf.
  • Tappuah was a town bordering Ephraim and conquered by Manasseh.
  • "Tappuah" is the Hebrew word for "apple."
