The TAO/OAT collective is a worthwhile entry for Wikipedia because it is the first radical technology collective of its kind in Norht America (and I suspect the world). It provides free internet email, listserves, and webhosting to organizations that have a committment to radical social change and social movement participation. Thus, the organization is not-for-profit and engaged in its labor for higher-order reasons. The page is therefore not a vanity page or something that reflects a small constituency. It has served as inspiration for at least a dozen other projects like it throughout the world, that collectively provide non-corporate, non-state-controlled internet tools for activists engaged in radical social change struggles. It is also unique for its employment of a "mutual aid" principle for services. "Members" are encouraged to give something in exchange to the collective for the services they receive. For example, to answer "help" email or solve tech problems. I have tried to reflect these qualities--in a Wikipedian way--in the text. Hope it helps. Cheers.
