[edit] Re Vandalism of Xenomorph, Refutation of Accusation of Vandalism
"This notice regards your edits to the Xenomorph article: Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. KILO-LIMA 18:24, 28 February 2006 (UTC)"
Dear KILO-LIMA, my intent was not vandalism, regrettably, it has been seen as such. At the time I put up the edit, I firmly believed the information I changed, to be accurate as per what was displayed in Alien Resurrection, ie that the substance used to control and/or manipulate the Alien was not steam, but instead a jet of liquid nitrogen, as evidenced in the later scene of a guard being physically frozen in a manner consistent with that of liquid nitrogen exposure, in an investigation of the incident which resulted in the mass escape of the Xenomorphs on board the Auriga. I was unable to quote the exact time reference for this, as had been done for the reference towards steam being used, which is why I quoted the Anchorpoint Essays, which at one point, in the essay on the intelligence of the Alien, had explicitly mentioned that liquid nitrogen, and not steam was used in Alien Resurrection, in the aforementioned scenes.
However, I stand down, corrected regarding this matter.
With regards to the opinion that I had the intent to, I quote, "vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information", I have to firmly refute that accusation, as I had no such intent, believing wholly that my edit was in good faith, and that the information edited was correct, and in the better interest of the article, free from ill will and/or malice.
Faithfully tanyiliang

- Re: Please accept my apoligies of the above; however you should know that any references of Anchor Point Essay should be kept to the absoloute mimimum and you should also check that the edit you have made are reasonable. For example when you changed the reference, you should use the preview button as it was originally something like this: [nitrogen] or something similar; and I think keeping the time-code for the film is better that [possibly] non-canon articles, like Anchor Point Essay. Please accept my apoligies again, KILO-LIMA 16:24, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Dear KILO-LIMA Thank you for explaining the specifics to me, regarding the issues behind the edit, as well as some of the technical details, I am still a newbie to editing Wiki pages, learning the technical details as I go. Thank you for taking the time for explaining some aspects of it to me. Re the apologies- no hard feelings :-)
