In case you did not know this, from Yitzhak Shamir:
When the Irgun split in 1940, Shamir sided with the most militant faction, headed by Avraham Stern. The group was so profoundly anti-British that they actively sought collaboration with Nazi Germany (see Lehi (group), Revisionist Zionism; Heller, 1995, pp. 85-86).
...Count Folke Bernadotte who, although he had secured the release of 21,000 prisoners headed for Nazi extermination camps during World War II, was seen by Shamir and his collaborators as an anti-Zionist and "an obvious agent of the British enemy" (Gazi, 2002, p. 32).
Ignorance is not as great a virtue as your edits seem to suggest you believe. Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 21:05, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
YapYapYap. That's not what you posted before. Take it up with yourself, Davey. Tanya! Ravine 20:32, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Good job with Shamir
As loonie as you obviously are in following me around with random reverts and low-quality word play, the changes you have made to the Shamir article are quite good. They clarify the 1940s history and maintain WP:NPOV and WP:V. Keep up the good work! There are 700k articles out there that I've neither edited, nor have anything to do with me, that could each use improvements. Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 20:54, 7 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] David Mertz
I listed the David Mertz article for deletion once again, just wanted to see if you still had an issue with it or wanted to vote. --ScottyBoy900Q 16:51, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
