[edit] Purpose of this stub

Note: This stub is for those articles that deal with subjects in the texts of the Hebrew Bible or Torah or Tanakh or also known as the Old Testament. Please use the {{Judaism-stub}} (Category:Judaism stubs) for topics and articles that relate to other areas of the Jewish religion, i.e. Judaism, as well as to other Jewish religious texts. For topics and articles that relate to more general and secular areas of Jewish history use the {{Jewish-hist-stub}} (Category:Jewish history stubs). For anything that deals with the modern State of Israel please use the {{Israel-stub}} (Category:Israel stubs). Thank you. IZAK 06:11, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] About the renaming

I wasn't around when the stub type was changed from Hebrew-Bible to Tanakh, but I would like to point out that I think it was a mistake, since this stub also is supposed to (and does) apply to the apocrypha. --Eliyak T·C 21:54, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
