[edit] Character Information
Tanya first arrived in Charnaham in 2003, at St David's hospital as the nurse who treated Jake Walker after his involvement in a car crash that killed Robert Davenport and Fern Farmer. Tanya later settled into the street with her gay best friend, Sean Steel. The two agreed to try for a baby.
Tanya later began dating Journalist Nick Dormand, who had a son, Charlie from a previous marriage. However, Tanya was horrified to discover that Nick had been leaving Charlie on his own and the relationship ended with Nick leaving and Sean and Tanya looking after Charlie.
Tanya and Sean tried to adopt Charlie, but that idea never materialiased when Charlie's mother Sarah came back into the picture.
In 2004, Tanya gave birth to a baby boy, Harry. Life as a happy family didn't last very long as Sean died in hospital after being stabbed by some youths in the early hours of New Year's eve.
For the remainder of 2005, Tanya was involved in a love triangle with Dr. John Stokes and her neighbour Conrad Williams. John proposed to Tanya and they were married that September and left Charnham.
A few weeks later Tanya miscarriaed and subsequently left John. A Few weeks later, Tanya realised she loved Conrad and returned to Charnham on rainy night to let him know and the two shared a kiss.
They subsequently left for Fiji.
