A Tank transporter is a specialised road vehicle for the transport of tanks.

It usually consists of a tractor and a trailer for the tank. Tank transporters are necessary because of the limited mileage of the vehicles tracks (the tracks having limited life and so the saving of wear is justified) and (sometimes) limited road speed.

Tank transporters are used for the movement of the tank to and from the battlefield.
