Tanjōjutsu
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tanjōjutsu (短杖術?) is the art of handling the Japanese short stick tanjō. It is based on a form of self-defense martial art using an umbrella or a cane to fight, but now a tanjō, which is 90 cm in length is used for tanjōjutsu.
Elements of using the tanjō can be found in several other martial arts including aikido.
