Tango Telecom, is a company headquartered in Limerick, Ireland, which provides telecommunications software to mobile operators.
Tango Telecom is a privately owned company, with both venture capital and institutional capital funding. The company's shareholders include the management & employees, along with major investors, Comptel Corporation (listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange HEX: CTL1V), Delta Partners (Top Irish VC fund with €125 million VC funds) and Shannon Development (Irish Government body).
Tango Telecom was formed in 1999 to develop enhanced services solutions for current and next generation telecommunications network operators. The company delivered the first product in Portugal during 2001 and delivered the first real-time charging solution at the end of 2002.
