Tanglewood Guitars is a British company of luthiers that manufacture a variety of stringed instruments such as guitars and associated products.

The acoustic guitars manufactured by Tanglewood are ideal for playing blues fingerstyle because of the low action on the strings. (the strings are closer to the fret board, and therefore easier to play) Tanglewood produces both plain and simple guitars, and some more elaborately designed instruments which feature decorative shell inset such as abalone around the sound hole.
In 2006 Tanglewood Guitars sold more acoustic guitars in the United Kingdom than any other company.
In 2007 and 2008, Tanglewood Guitars was ranked as the best-selling acoustic guitar brand in a survey conducted by the British magazine MI Pro.
