[edit] History

Tangible was founded by Merrick in January 2008 as a sister agency to his interactive marketing agency, Lakonic, founded November 2000. Tangible opened its doors with Effen Vodka as a client, followed by Podi, which has since named Tangible their integrated agency-of-record. The agency received its first public recognition for their limited-edition silkscreen poster designs, part of their guerrilla marketing campaign for UNICEF's Tap Project.[2][3] In May of 2008, Pitchfork Media, the most popular independent-focused music publication online,[4] appointed Tangible as its first integrated agency-of-record.[5] Tangible recently launched Effen's first multi-national website, and continues to build on Lakonic's vast interactive history.
