Tanganikallabes mortiauxi is the only species of catfish (order Siluriformes) in the genus Tanganikallabes of the family Clariidae.[2] This species occurs in the Lake Tanganyika.[2] It is found in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia.[1] This species grows to about 33.0 centimetres (13.0 in) TL.[3] It is found among stones on rocky shores of lakes.[3]
