[edit] History
Over 50 years ago, Tandem Library Group began in the library industry as American/Econoclad Catalog Card Company. With the acquisition of several library automation product lines and businesses, the company changed its name in 2003 to Sagebrush Corporation, which was comprised of Sagebrush Education Resources—the company's library books distribution division—and Sagebrush Education Technologies—the company's library automation division. In 2006, Sagebrush Corporation sold its library automation division to Follett Software, and in 2007 announced its new name, Tandem Library Group. The company distributes library books to schools and public libraries under the name Tandem Library Books, and provides library services under the name Tandem Library Services.
