"...after 4 days of plane crash tragedy."

Shouldn't this read "4 days after the tragedy". As it reads now it implies it took the plane 4 days to crash! Can anyone verify that it was erected so quickly? Originally I edited the grammar but I've undone that as I find it hard to believe that only 4 days after the crash a memorial was erected, commissioned, sure, but erected?
